Shoe horn needed and tears of gratitude

I need a shoe horn to fit in everything I need to do today on my day at home -- which includes housework, cooking, getting ready for guests, a meeting, and the final session of a seminar I have been attending on Tuesday nights. But I'm feeling energetic, so it should happen. ;-)

I also want to extend special thanks and hugs for the thoughtfulness of boriel, who sends me Boromir stuff. I got a special something from her in the mail on Friday, a day when I needed a pick-me-up because of rushing about like a mad person trying to get the house in order for some important guests, and feeling pretty nervous about the whole thing. What better way to cheer me up than a gift of film strip cells from one of the most moving Boromir scenes in FOTR (see my icon if you don't know which scene that is)!

I started "running" this morning also, but partway into it had a meeting cancelled and voila! I got a NAP! (wow...a day that will be remembered...) - I'll see if I can nap a little extra just for you, Lin - you look like you need one too.

That was so sweet of Boriel. It is how things like this happens. It is like Boriel knew that you needed this pick me up. I know that I don't know you all that well but then it seems like I do. Through your writings I can tell that you are a very specail person. I admire you for what you are doing with your church. I would really like to hear more about what you do if you would like to tell me. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day you and your family.
