Flashback Friday... Hair again

The constant exclamations about how great my hair cut looks (sincere, too -- never mind that I didn't even wash it or style it this morning) bring back to me the time in high school when my two best friends ganged up on me and said,
"Cut your hair, we'll pay for it! We think you would look great with shorter hair."

So I did it, and it was indeed nice. Too bad that was AFTER I got my senior picture taken!!

Well, that was almost 30 years ago; the hair grew out, and never got cut again for various reasons, until last week. And now I am hearing the same thing: that my hair looks good short, that I look years younger (not that I looked that elderly before), etc. etc.

So that makes me happy. :-D

I hope I'll have a picture soon, to see if y'all agree with me.

I've decided I like it this way, so it will be staying short -- I might even have had it trimmed up properly by then! It's still needs some growing out and retrimming in spots. :-/

Yes, I am feeling almost normal now. I have a bit of a cough still, and get tired easily, but I feel human again. Whew!
