What was I going to say?

I woke up in the middle of the night and had my LJ entry all written in my mind and now I can't remember any of it! That's Monday for you, I guess. So since I can't remember what I was going to say, it'll just have to be a bit of this and a bit of that, I guess.

It's supposed to snow today, big time. Nothing yet here where I am, but it's supposed to start this morning. I'm sorry, because I had a lovely plan to meet pippinswolf-- but it sounds like one of those storms that's best viewed from inside my house and not from inside my car. ((((Kimby))))

Our decorative painter arrived last night and is getting set up to start painting the foyer and the living room. He's very nice, and very knowledgeable about things -- between him and my coworker who is charge of the interior decorating of the Guest House, we are going to have one really nifty "new" old house, eventually. :-D Still, I'm not sure I am looking forward to being trapped in the house during a snowstorm with fresh paint on the ceiling and walls....

Don't feel too bad...I might have to reschedule it anyway, because the mayor of WC called a snow emergency to be in effect from 2 pm today until 2 pm tomorrow. I put a call into the office and I"m waiting to hear, but if he wishes to reschedule, we can have that lovely date! It's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen today, I'm much more chilled out now.
I'll read your Boromir angst a bit later, once I get a little more caught up with my other stuff.
