That's a variation of a phrase my mom is wont to quote -- "Life is too much with us." It would seem there are many who are struggling with Monday today -- but I pray the day improves for you all.
I am actually doing better today than I have been all weekend. I've been under the weather a bit the last few days, but I'm starting to feel better, finally. Yay!
Something about a Monday, though, makes one think about goals for the week, and when I start doing that, I get all nervous and panicky about all the stuff I haven't gotten around to yet. That List of Doom is beginning to grow heavy again!
Which is why I am using my new icon today -- to remind me to leave time for myself, in spite of all I have to do. Boromir is the sworn enemy of my List of Doom, so he'll help me keep things in perspective!
Some of my goals this week include:
- visit with
pippinswolf if we can work something out; that'll be a fun thing!
- driving with my son -- he's doing well with that, which is encouraging!
- helping said son get all his ducks in a row to start at the local community college in a few weeks
- get to the eye doctor, I just know I need new glasses!
- do expense accounts, ugh!
- my usual RW writing project for the month
Oh, and yes, focus on Boromir, as needed. ;-)

Date: 2005-03-14 10:00 pm (UTC)From:I wasn't in bad shape, just struggling with low blood sugar a bit and a funny tummy. The tummy's good now, and the hypoglycemia is getting there. I get like this sometimes when I have a lot on my plate -- other than food, that is! :-D
