Feeling grateful...

I am feeling very content today that I am NOT in Pakistan right now -- because where we live it is 104 degrees now, and it is only mid-April!! That's pretty hot! It didn't used to hit 105 before the beginning of May...

You can say "well, at least it's a dry heat" until you are blue in the face, but 104 degrees is hot no matter how you look at it. And it will only get worse.

Now here in PA it is a beautiful spring day, not too hot, not too cold -- except in my office, where I think they just turned on the AC. I'm not quite ready for that yet!!

Oh, gosh, yes! When we went to Israel, the day we walked through Jerusalem, it was well over 100 (someone said 120, but I don't think it was *that* high), and everyone was saying, oh its just dry, no humiditity (which was nice, because we're from Atlanta, one of the most humid places I've ever been in).

But, dang was it HOT. :)

At least you've had heat for awhile - we were getting into freezing temperatures, and they'd already turned the heat off!

I'm glad the weather is so beautiful right now. I've been rather blue this week (I think because I'm tired), but the good weather is lifting my spirits.

Isn't PA the most beautiful palce? All the tress and flowers?

You know, I don't ask for much in this life, but in my next one I at LEAST want to be the one controlling the thermostat...its gorgeous here, too. We actually had our office's front door open and the screen door on. Unfortunately, people then tended to come in and make us do our jobs, blast 'em!
