Well, I've been accident free for some months, but I'm all scuffed up again after tripping on uneven pavement on my way home -- walking fast, of course, so that I went flying (and I do mean flying). Two knees, two hands, one elbow nicely skinned and scraped and bruised with some bleeding, and a shoulder that is beginning to feel a bit stiff and achey from getting a good wrench. My pride is intact, because I got up and kept going and didn't see anyone noticing me (I didn't look, either.)
And me all set to go to a baseball game tonight. :-/
Still going, as of now, we'll see how I feel in an hour.
One good thing, the adrenalin rush from falling cured my headache! :-D

Date: 2005-05-06 09:41 pm (UTC)From:I did that stumble-and-catch-yourself thing the other day, 'bout scared the crap out of my work-partner. I just grinned at him and did a Cathy Rigby-landing thingy and laughed about it... but my heart was beating a mile a minute!
I hope you don't feel it too much later! *soothing cuddles*
