I managed to write up a report that should have been done ages ago, but finally had to be done or else, since we are presenting it tomorrow at a meeting we are going to attend. I discovered in the process that we didn't do the Fall version of the report, which was somewhat distressing -- but no use fretting about it now, too late for that. The nice thing is, it's one thing done that I can cross off today's list of things to do, and it was the main thing, too; everything after this that I accomplish (or do for fun) is extra.

The meeting we will be attending tomorrow is part of an annual church conference that is being held at Sandy Cove, MD, on Chesapeake Bay. We're going for the day, to visit with the board and hand in our report, as well as to meet and visit with a bunch of pastors and delegates -- all friends -- as well as some folks from back home in Wisconsin. That will be fun! Not to mention the fact that it is likely to be a glorious day on the Bay tomorrow, as well as great driving weather. I'm looking forward to a chance to get away for the day.

Speaking of weather, here's some news that might interest you -- or not, as the case may be. ;-) It is yet another day in Pakistan where the "weather" is described as being "widespread dust" with a high of 99 degrees. Not bad, actually, for this time in May -- must be the dust keeping the temps down a bit.

On that note, I shall end and go do some more stuff, lest I lapse into lengthy reminiscing about "in Pakistan, it gets soooo hot that...."

:-D

Ooooh...that sounds nice. Really nice. (the drive to the Bay, not the dust) LOL!!

One thing down, a million to go is about how I'm feeling now -- and I don't even have one down yet! I have two papers due this week, and neither of them are going good at all. Plus I have to get a roleplaying costume ready for the weekend and a host of other stuff.... we're in the same boat!

Praying for strength for both of us, my dear. :)

(((Lin))) glad that you got the report done and I hope that all goes well at the church conference meeting.

99 degrees gosh I would die that would be so hot. So if the dust is keeping the weather down what is it out there? I think that our summers here can get to hot. I don't like to cold or hot, I like the middle weather that we get sometimes if we are lucky.

*sigh* you'll be in MD on my b-day, and I'll be in school. :'-(. Sandy Cove - I've been there... It's about 45 mins - 1 hr away from me. Beautiful place. I hope you have fun :-D... What time are you leaving/getting back?

I will be back home here before too late, probably leave before suppertime. It's a couple of hours drive and we need to be back by 8 pm if we can manage it. I hope I have fun, too, and I'm not in meetings all day! ;-)

I shall be thinking of you all day tomorrow on your birthday, and I promise to wave from across the bay.
