I'm at work this morning to finish up something I didn't get done yesterday -- normally I would be home on a Tuesday. But it's a haven here compared to what it's like at home right now!
After a quiet day at the office yesterday, I had no problem in the evening coping with the hussle and bustle and pounding, etc. of the work team -- I even did fine with having at least half a dozen "Ioreth" type people all talking at me at once, loudly and with great animation, and I participated in like manner. But it's a bit harder to take first thing in the morning, when I'm trying to find things that have been packed away so I can pack a lunch for work, and trying to get ready to go, and just trying to keep my brain from being eaten alive by all the chatter! I shall have to plan morning escapes every day, I think.
I am dreading next week, when the majority of the work team moves in to the house and they are with us 24/7!
Other than that, I think I will survive with most of my grace intact -- though prayers for strength will be much appreciated! The women have so much energy they are doing my laundry for me, and I am having to think up jobs for them to do in between their cooking and painting duties. I'm hoping that when it's time to put the house back together, I will have all my spring cleaning done before I can even turn around!
My icon today has little relation to this post, I just like it. May I be as calm-looking on the inside as well as the outside as I face many excitements this week.
