I've used the subject heading before, but it's none the worse for wear. ;-)

I've been proving my great worth as a writer and copy editor this morning! :-D And it's kept me very busy. I had a few moments here and there to look at my F-list and post accordingly, but that's about it. Now it's lunchtime and I'm finally getting a few moments to catch my breath.

I truly have a busy week this week, with guests coming from overseas and lots of things to write and edit in preparation for various conference sessions in the next weeks. There are still things to deal with in the house before Friday, and still issues to be settled in our family concerning how our goals for the future will play out in the present. Hubby especially is wondering how he is going to manage it all, short of cloning himself -- which means he WON'T manage it all and will feel guilty about that. I am beginning to have List of Doom dreams again, which is not conducive to the stress-free lifestyle, but there you are.

We went on a long walk for Father's Day, and though I came home with a wee blister, it was time well spent. For this evening, I'm looking forward to a lovely visit with my dear [livejournal.com profile] kimbys_place, over coffee and dessert.

Speaking of coffee, my coffee cup at the office today says "Expect a Miracle" on it; good advice for me today, to keep me from worrying overmuch about the future (whether it be the fast approaching yikes I have deadline future, or the distant, uncertain what am I going to to with my life future). I am doing my best to follow that advice, waiting expectantly and prayerfully for my assigned miracles to happen -- both the "suddenly out of the blue" kind of miracle, and the "slowly coming true in its own time" miracle.

One thing I do know, with certainty.

It's time for lunch. ;-)

Jeez Lin, you're always having guests over!

Yep Lin, expect a miracle, I'm beginning to learn that they're hidden, but they're there. Like for example, right now I'm doing something very boring and I'd have to make corrections if there were any... luckily there aren't any errors, so miracle for me! Less work that I have to do. Stay positive, count your blessings etcetera etcetera ;-)

I'm also hoping that you find some time for yourself in this busy week.

Jeez Lin, you're always having guests over!

The reason for that is that one of my current jobs here with our mission organization is to run a guest house, and this is the time of year everyone comes home from overseas for a visit. :-D

Ohhh okay, I thought you meant guests like family or something. I should've known it was you just being your ole generous self ;-)

Oh, say hi to Kimby and give me a hug from her! How nice, I'm glad you're getting a break. Nothing like a visit with a dear friend to cheer one up. :-)

I just opened the COE Card you sent. I adore you! Thank you!
I hope everything works out for you and yours and does not get to tricksy for you both.
We did have a great weekend, didn't we!

All the best Borobuddy!
