Monday's here and it's time for some goals

My goals for the day are pretty easy -- pack up all my paraphenalia that has gotten strewn about my folks' house and get it in the car to travel to Doug's folks' house, which is the first leg of our trip back to PA.

If I do a good job of it, I'll still have time left to do some shopping in town at my favorite thrift shops -- we have a gorgeous consignment shop that has excellent clothes for excellent prices, and a Land's End outlet that usually has something nifty to offer.

I may be able to get online at the inlaw's house between now and Wednesday am, when we will leave to drive back to PA, so you might hear from me again once or twice -- but no promises.

I'll get caught up with you all when I get home, though. I'm taking some time off when I get there to make up for all the time I've had to do office work while on vacation, as they needed me to edit this and proofread that because of this or that deadline, yadda yadda.

Speaking of deadlines, guess I'd better get packing...

I found me a v-neck tshirt with 3/4 sleeves -- big purple flowers, wheee! -- brand new and an interesting size (petite large, which sounds weird, but it's just what I need). Oh, and a pair of shoes that might be good for my poor foot.

Hubby bought himself cowboy boots!!! :-D
