Think I'll do a goal Tuesday

I'm a busy bee today, but I have a nice long day ahead of me in which to be busy uninterrupted, so that is a Very Good Thing.

My goals for the day include:

- laundry
- errands, including the bank, Walmart and the grocery store
- sort clothes and take the discarded ones to the Rescue Mission
- choose clothes for my Indianapolis trip
- sort more papers
- finish an overdue report and get it sent off

Ooops! I just foolishly looked at my work email and I see there is an editing job for me in there. I think I will ignore it for now, and pretend I didn't see it. If I finish everything else scheduled for MY DAY OFF, I might do that job -- just so I don't have to do it tomorrow!

This list calls for another cup of coffee, then I'll get started.

EDIT
Well, the uninterrupted part didn't last very long. Like about 10 minutes! The guy from the office who wants the editing done called and said, Can you do it today? I wonder if he detected the resigned dismay in my voice when I replied, Today? Oh, okay, I'll get right on it. :-/

Why are women's days off fair game for everyone else in the world, but men's days off are MY DAY OFF and woe to you if you disturb it? Hmmmmm.
