Nippiness

The current temperature is -11 degrees, with the Real Feel temperature being -28 degrees. The sun is shining but it doesn't seem to be having much affect as yet.

And I get to sit in my car today while my son does his paper routes.

At least I get to sit in the car and not be out in it -- you can bet I'll have the heater running, in spite of my thrifty DH's desire to save as much fuel as possible. I think he'll let me off the hook today!

In spite of the nippiness, though, I am content. It's supposed to be like this in Wisconsin in the winter! Nice thing about the cold is that it means our seven or so inches of new snow will be sticking around for awhile.

Wow! I would call that more than nippy, lol. I used to think I was so tough living in upstate NY, especially after I went to college in Buffalo where the wind whips off Lake Erie and blows the snow and sleet and humans vertically. It was sort of nice, actually, because people in Buffalo get progressively nicer the more intrusive the weather gets. When you are digging out your car for the third time in one day, you can only look at your neighbor doing the same thing, shrug, laugh and help each other. It only took one winter in North Carolina to make me soft, lol. Nowadays anything under 45 degrees and I am a big shivering baby.
