I was away yesterday, to a women's retreat put on by the church women in our district. It was lovely to see lots of friends after not seeing them for awhile -- even though I'm only two hours away from where I grew up, I don't get home all that often -- and the speaker was very good. It was nice to get away and drive through the southwest Wisconsin countryside on a sunny day.

Hubby checked in to let me know he slept off his mango allergy, and then sent me a long list of books to make decisions about. Sure wish we had transporter technology, he could just beam them to me, instead of making me decide which ones have to stay behind and which ones get mailed ultrasnail mail. :-/

Have a good Saturday, my dears; I'm hoping to get some writing done while my boy delivers newspapers -- or else some napping. ;-)

(((((Hugs you back))))

The leaves weren't as colorful as this, but the sun was bright and the grass was surprisingly green, so it was a pretty decent drive on roads like this. All the snow is gone, and it's head for 60 degrees here today.

Transporter technology... now THERE'S something I've wished for, oh, countless times! :-D

The retreat sounds lovely, and the photo is gorgeous. A very inviting road to drive on!

You have no idea how many times I have wished for transporter technology, lol. Who knows? They can send one particle across the world instantaneously already. It may be closer than we realize.

Still, not soon enough to help in this situation I'd imagine. ;)

Oh, dear. I had to give up books when I moved to the townhouse. I had enough that I could part with that I was able to keep the important ones but it was hard going through them and books are the one thing I get hoardy about. I have been thinking and praying about your DH and his safety. ((((Lin)))).
