My mom is doing very well. Her eye surgery did the trick -- brought the pressure down in her eye to proper levels. She needs to have it monitored a couple more times to be sure it will stay that way, then she'll be pronounced cured, and she won't have to take glaucoma eye drops anymore. Her life was becoming ruled by 4 different eye drops four times a day, so that will be a great blessing!
She slept well last night with little pain -- an answer to prayer -- and she's still feeling well, though she has to take it very easy, this weekend especially. She says she has a glorious black eye!
