1. The garbage truck that comes to empty the dumpsters across the street from our bedroom window at 6 in the morning, clanking and bumping and screeching.

2. The traffic on I-90 so close by, droning, constantly droning...

3. Yellow pollen coming through open windows and getting all over everything.

4. My bed, which isn't doing my back any favors.

5. A list a mile long of things to do, and another list of things I want to do, but either forget about until it's the middle of the night, or which I feel guilty doing because the things from the first list aren't done.

6. Carpeting in the apartment that looks quite decent, but seems to absorb and hold all odors no matter what I do to prevent it.

/peeving

In spite of all that, it should be a decent day of getting things done -- though it looks like I shall have to add carpet deodorizer to the shopping list! And I'm going to add "no carpeting" to my list of things to look for in a new apartment when we move.

My List of Doom is writing itself without my permission, so I guess I'd better go stop it before it gets unmanageable for the day. I'm adding one thing of my own today, and that's "spend time ignoring the boring list and do something from the fun list" for a bit. :-D

Have a good Friday, friends!

I've completely abandoned my list...I care not anymore.

Brynn spilled ketchup on the carpet so I have that to clean, but other than that, I will do nothing to but write, obsess and try really hard to get out of this horribly bad mood I'm in. Hope your day works out for you love!

Sorry about the bad mood, dear one. After ketchup on the carpet, doing you stuff should be at the top of the list!

I'm adding to my list "send something fun to read to Candi today" -- as we speak. ;-)

Ever wake up and are just in a bad mood? For no real reason? I woke up this morning and if I could have gotten away with it without feeling guilty and feeling like a bad mom, I would have literally snarled at everyone in my path. I screamed at the stupid, ridiculous traffic on the long road leading to my parent's house - we live IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! What is up with this? I turned up the music so loud I gave myself a headache. And I'm trying to write a scene of mass destruction. I should be i n the perfect freaking mood for it, but no, its not coming...

(((((You)))))

A pox on traffic noise, it's so irritating!!!

I hope we can both keep the bad mood at bay. I just discovered I left ham bones out all night, which I was going to use to make soup. :-/ Which would add to the smell of the carpet, of course...

Hope you can get something written that helps.

Lists organize, prioritize and give a great feeling of accomplishment when they are heavily marked with checks, but they can also be guilt inducing. Guilt is one of the most useless energy wasters in our day! Sometimes the list needs to be tucked under the carpet for awhile, whatever it smells like ;) Have some guilt-free fun time! ((((Lin))))

Hey, maybe putting the list under the carpet would make it smell better!

I keep running up against things I planned to do today and forgot to write down and so they are now surprising me. I need a vacation from today already, and I haven't even gotten out of my jammies yet. :-D

I love it when you peeve!
I picture you in your little pollen-yellow apartment, spreading carpet deodorizer with plugs in your ears to screen out the traffic sounds.
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) Good luck with the list of Doom, my friend! I need to find some motivation, too.

Yep, it's a peeve-laden day, LOL! But it could be worse, and I haven't yelled at anyone yet! I'm having second breakfast (with allergy pill for desert) to fortify myself before I face the laundry.

I'm doing better today. It was one wild day yesterday, that's for sure! Everything I put my hand to got messed up. ;-) I'm sleepy today but otherwise good. In spite of all the hassle, my BP was in great shape today, so that encouraged me.

Thanks for the snuggles and thoughts and worries!
