Chota mota for Saturday

Alas, I am reduced to reporting the small fat today, because I can't think of anything exciting or encouraging or especially special to say today. ;-) Guess I can't be scintillating everyday!

I've been out to the grocery store and to pick up the boy's newspapers for him. Fish was on sale today, yay! It's so hard to eat more fish when it costs so much to buy. As usual, I bought more than what was on my list, but we did need it all -- and none of it was junk food! And yes, I did buy some green beans. ;-)

After the paper route is finished (in the rain), hubby and I are hopping in the car and heading for my folks house, two hours away. We will spend the night there and then go to church with them tomorrow. This is the church we are presenting our PowerPoint talk at, which was occupying all my thought and effort earlier in the week. Not sure when we will be back -- Sunday late, or Monday early.

I never used to like fish, but there are so many non-fishy fish available now that I have really come to love it! The first time I went through an entire menu at a restaurant and ended up ordering the tilapia was a shock to me and the people I was eating with, lol.

Some days it is good to just be, to have a normal everyday kind of day, nothing special, nothing fancy just a day.

I hope your presentation went well and that the power point was worth all the trouble. Power point is one of those on my list to learn one day lists.
