Pundrah annay means 15 annas, an anna being a very small monetary unit in Pakistan. 16 annas equal one rupee. Annas are actually no longer in use as money but the word is still part of the language, as a figure of speech when replying to the question, "How are you?" If the answer is anything less than 16 annas, then that means you are not feeling one hundred percent.

I'm feeling less than perfect, though not totally bad -- mostly because of my foot/leg problem, which also makes my tummy feel a bit upset. I haven't been mentioning it much, but it is still an issue. I think there is healing taking place, but I may have strained the injury recently when I went bowling as part of a fundraising benefit, and so have suffered a setback. *sigh*

I'm also still distracted with that sense of disquiet I mentioned in yesterday's journal entry. I haven't got started yet getting back to the quiet place that keeps me strong no matter what is going on around me. That's the trouble with feeling like something needs changing -- even just a small thing here or there. When I know pretty much how to go about it and what to do, it still takes making a first step to get going down that road!

Maybe I'll get up and do something about that -- after I'm done relaxing with my foot up!

the Spirit is willing and flesh...well lets not go there....YOU WENT BOWLING!!!!!
you push to hard lin, to hard. At some point you must do like me and tell those about you that have come to rely on "good ol Marg" that you must decline for the time being.
It is no sin
You must take care of you and to find that space where your peace dwells must also take a time for healing.
Oh my friend, I am at a loss. Please show the same kindness towards yourself as you do us.

even more long talks with our Father than ever, for you and all of us.

Thank you again for coming to my aid yesterday and before as well.

now take some time for my twinsy friend.

*sniffle*

You are right, my brother. I shall do as you say, and I thank you for saying it. I have always been bad at saying no. ;-)
no foolin lin
Harper always helped Sharpe when he was going past the limits....not that Richard listened much, but the Irishmans heart was in the right place...caring for his friend, and I you.

be at peace
You really did help, no foolin'. Just the right words at just the right time.

Your birthday something will not likely arrive on the day, I'm sad to say -- but it's a'coming!
I am not sure if yours arrives in time too, but thats not important is it. Happy Daze Lin

If I give you an American penny for your thoughts will that be enough to bring you to a rupee?

Which foot and leg is it? Sometimes it helps me focus my prayers if I hold my hands over the same place on me that I request healing for on someone else. When I was just doing it I was at the outside of the right ankle and the foot and calf around that area. If that wasn't right, I am sure God will redirect, though.

You know what is to be done and when you see it done, your disquiet will settle for you nicely, I am quite sure of it.

It's the left shin, just above the ankle, where the main lumpy bruise is, and both the inner and outer part of that ankle are also troubling me right now. I'm thinking those prayers were redirected, however, because it's aching less now. God's pretty good at taking the spirit of the prayer and applying it to when and where it is needed, thankfully!

*is encouraged*

That feeling of disquiet is rather unsettling, isn't it? I have it a lot these days, in the way that even when I know I deserve a few minutes of peace and quiet and pure relaxation -- even need them -- I still feel jittery about abandoning my schoolwork. There's so much of it, and only one week left to get it done in...!

Here's hoping and praying we both can find that peace, amidst busy-ness and discomfort and tasks that need doing. ((((Lin))))

I imagine you DO know what I'm talking about, with all you have on your plate. We will find our way, though; with faith, all things are possible.! Thanks for your prayers, and you have mine ((((Captin))))!

I hope you find your quiet time soon, to help take care of your spiritual side. I believe that will help you heal physically as well!

Small steps, indeed, Lin. Take those small steps.

I will be thinking about you!

Thanks, love! I can go a long time sometimes before I need that spiritual refreshment -- but I do need it now and then. I'm taking those steps!

Thank you so much for you love and your good wishes! I shall be right soon, but I'm glad to have my dear ones with me when I'm not quite there yet.
