Actually, I do like Yahoo very much, and it has served us well -- except when it doesn't. :-/ Ever since last night we've been having trouble with Yahoo related sites -- sluggish, can't sign in or load the page, that sort of thing. It's the same no matter which browser we use. This morning, through much trial and error, I managed to read email -- for a time -- but now I can no longer sign in. I can't sign in to Yahoo Messenger, I can't sign in to any of our email accounts.

The rest of the internet works fine! I suppose they are upgrading or something. *sigh*

In any case, I shall take advantage of this situation, and try to get some work done. Hopefully I won't be tempted to keep checking to see if my email works yet, instead of going about my non-internet related business. :-D

If you don't hear from me via email or YM for a bit, you'll know why!

Gah, how frustrating! Last year, Yahoo e-mail started bothering me so much, I switched to Gmail.

It can be a real pain, but we are so established in Yahoo now with all our contacts, that we hate to switch. It's been awhile since we had trouble, so I think they are getting better... *said hopefully*

Same thing is happening to me. I couldn't get in this morning at all. This is the first problem I have had with Yahoo.

I've been having terrible troubles with Yahoo too lately -- exactly the ones you describe. Sometimes when I type in "mail.yahoo.com", a page will come up with MSN Search telling me they couldn't find it -- and then suggesting a link to click on which is exactly the same address. *rolls eyes*

I too at first thought it had something to do with my internet connection, but like you, it's running fine for me. So we'll just have to wait for Yahoo to get their systems in order again!

I hate it when that happens. It happened for few minutes this morning with gmail, but they fixed the problem very quickly. I hope your yahoo starts working properly! *hugs*

Graham was having trouble with it in England, too. I was having trouble but I think it was our connection because it was everything.

It figures Yahoo would flip out today. I answered a Yahoo personals ad from a very cute 44 year old High School Drama teacher in my town. I was feeling impulsive and we had a ton in common. Haven't heard from him of course. *blush* *taps fingers on desk* *paces house*

I couldn't get in this morning and it was very annoying indeed; I did manage to get in this afternoon, though...it did make me do other things, so I suppose that's something =D

I did get to the doctor and will have to go on to a gyno for a fuller exam. She's testing me for a number of items, so we'll see what's happening with my blood, thyroid and hormones.
