I actually feel pretty decent today -- I can't believe that cold threw me for such a loop. I wasn't even all that sniffly, but the weariness that came with it was hard to shake. I'm still feeling a bit light and hollow like a strong wind might blow me away -- so a nap will likely be in order later today -- but other than that, I feel pretty rested and better than I have for days.
The weather should be lovely today -- it's nice and cool right now, and isn't supposed to get past the mid-80's today. So a goal for today is to walk, even if it's just a little one. I need the exercise, I need to get out in the fresh air, and I need to test the new walking shoes I bought the other day. I have to break them in before we go camping and hiking at the end of the summer. ;-)
Now that I have some of my pep back and my brain seems to be working again, I need to get cracking on the things that need doing before we leave for our second trip. This includes writing some reports, doing the laundry, do some more shopping for things I forgot to get last time I went out, and a whole plethora of other tasks that are too dull to write here. But they still need to get done. I'm thinking I'll be needing one of those computer free days this week!
Well, that wasn't a very good Goal Monday report, was it? Definitely more chota than mota. Ah, well, maybe there will be something more inspirational to report after my walk today. ;-)
I'm thinking of you all today and trusting that each one of you will have something come to you that will ease and encourage your heart!
A wee update: I just finished making arrangements for us to stay at our mission guest house for the weekend following our conference in New Jersey. That will be interesting, staying as guests in the place we used to call home! :-D I'm excited to see all the renovations they have done since we left last year. I'll try to take pictures, since I didn't have a chance to do it last year when we were moving!
