Dreaming about LJ
Jun. 11th, 2005 09:17 amNot much to report this morning, except I have quite a bit of setting up to do in the house -- of the kitchen and the guest rooms -- and only barely enough energy to do it! I do feel better, though, except for the lack of energy. I'll have to priortize what I have to do today, and really be strict with myself not to try to do too much.
I haven't been sleeping well since getting back home, because of the heat mostly. The other night (before we got our window AC installed) we were running our ceiling fan on high. It vibrated quite a bit, and made a regular clicking noise that disturbed my sleep something fierce. I actually dreamed most of the night that I was trying to figure out how to put the noisy fan behind an LJ Cut so I wouldn't have to hear it clicking!!! :-D
Pizza Hut provided the birthday supper last night and Betty Crocker helped make the cake and frost it. We had a fun time playing a board game together, and Doug won -- a National Geographic trivia game, right up his alley. Poor Nathan got all the American questions, which just goes to show how much he doesn't know about this place! But we still had fun. They wouldn't play LOTR Trivial Pursuit with me, for some odd reason... Probably because I know all the answers, and because I always grin triumphantly when I get a Boromir question. ;-)
