Thursday was a good day. I finally felt well again, got some good work done in the morning, had a sweet lunch visit with
wadearturo, got to some conference sessions and saw my Pakistan family again after a long parting, and went to see SW Episode III with one of those good girlfriends and her boys. What a great movie that was! It was awesome in and of itself, but to see it with 5 other avid fans was even better. And the best thing of all was sitting next to my friend, with whom I have shared much over the years in our work overseas -- but we've never gone to a film together nor have we shopped at Walmart together, two things we did this past week. Special!
Oh, and I saw the trailer for The Island -- Sean Bean, whoo hoo! ;-) Too bad the projected trailer was split on the screen. Thankfully they fixed it before the feature began.
I look forward to a good day tomorrow, though it involves a business meeting. ;-) And I'm looking forward to another film fest on the weekend, with another good friend,
kimbys_place.
I still have some worries, and some things in our future to sort out, but feeling well again has taken the sharp edge off my gloom, and seeing coworkers from overseas and being included as one of them, though we aren't currently involved over there, is very encouraging!
