Countdown to vacation

I've got about 12 hours left to get everything sqared away before going on my vacation. My son is staying behind because it will be more a vacation for him to stay than to go, as he is not interested in camping.
Plans for the next two weeks include me attending my 30th HS class reunion and Hubby attending the wedding of his nephew, speaking at two churches about Pakistan (not exactly a vacation thing to do, but it will still be fun), visiting family and friends, eating cheese and bratwurst and maybe catch a Packer exhibition game or two on TV, and the best thing of all -- camping. It will be a busy two weeks, but it will be spent in Wisconsin, and that's what makes it a vacation. Did you ever see those bumper stickers they used to have some years back for tourism in Wisconsin? ESCAPE TO WISCONSIN -- that's what we are going to do. ;-)
But not until I get ready. I still have a final straightening of the house to do as there will be guests coming and going while we are away. My son needs a list prepared of all the things he needs to keep an eye on and take care of for said guests. I haven't packed yet, so I guess I'd better start that...
I know I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again. We are taking the bus out so we can drive our "new" car back, that is waiting for us out there. That means 24 hours of sitting in the bus with nothing to do. I'm taking a walkman to listen to Sean Bean audio book and LOTR soundtracks, and I've got a book or two and some writing materials. I also have a neck pillow and a blanket if I want to sleep. Which I probably will, after working 12 hours straight in final preparations!
I will not be totally without access to the internet while I am away, so you will likely see me here and there as usual, keeping up with my friends.
