Saturday stuff
Aug. 27th, 2005 09:24 amEr... since when did I have 100 user pictures? How on earth is anyone supposed to be able to use that many? I have enough trouble choosing from among 50! :-D Still, it might be good to have a bit of variety; is anyone tired of Boromir/Bean/Sharpe/Pooh yet?
Anyway. Saturday is here, even though it feels like Tuesday to me -- yesterday felt like Monday, because it was the first day back to work after what seemed like a loooooong weekend. I'm glad it's not Tuesday, though.
I had a good day yesterday, very full with lots to accomplish at work, but I got it done on time -- which still amazes me. ;-) I didn't have to cook supper because we were given a bunch of fried chicken leftovers from the conference that was going on at the office, so I had an easy evening of it. Think I'll have chicken for meals today, too. :-D
Last night I watched a new DVD I sent for -- Sean Bean in Extremely Dangerous. It was 3 hours and 20 minutes of suspense and wondering what will happen next -- I couldn't stop watching it! It originally had aired as a miniseries, so I was going to watch it in sections. But once begun it had to be watched all the way through. It was a bit graphic, had some nudity, probably would be rated R if it were rated, but the story was really good and the acting and directing was exceptional, IMO. And of course, Sean Bean was excellent as the desperate man seeking answers.

My plans for the day include housework and laundry, sorting to get rid of junk that's eating up valuable space, and writing long overdue emails to dear friends to whom I've promised them. Maybe some story writing will be in order as well.
Even as I hustle and bustle and go through my day, rest assured that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers -- especially those who are struggling in various ways.
