Keeping up with my list
Jun. 27th, 2006 12:03 pmI'm doing pretty well so far today in balancing getting things done with having some nice sitdown time. I'm currently having a cup of nice strong coffee to help strengthen me after numerous trips up and down doing the laundry. I was going to have a walk this morning, but I think I must have put on a mile or two just going up and down the stairs! I tried to make it better exercise by walking at a fast pace. It really is a nuisance having to machines that aren't in my own place, but at least I don't have to leave the building to do my laundry.
Yesterday, I managed to check off a few things on my List of Doom, so that was encouraging. It wasn't very many things, but it's better to look at what gets checked off than at what does not! I'm dangling "me" time doing something relaxing as the carrot to induce me to get more accomplished early on today.
Well, guess that's all I have to report, so it's back to work. That "me" time is calling, and I didn't finish enough tasks yet. ;-)
