Goal Monday
Jun. 26th, 2006 12:12 pmFirst of all, GIP! I've been wanting to use this, so why not today, for Goal Monday? Perhaps this icon should say Stupid List of Doom, though, to fit with a goal Monday, hee! However, in spite of what it may seem, I don't mind having a List of Doom, and I am cheerfully looking forward to getting some things accomplished this week -- even today, though it's after noon already! I always do better if I have goals written out, even if I don't accomplish them and even when they become burdensome, so here is what is on my big D list (D for Doom) for the week:
- grocery shopping today
- visit my inlaws today (on a whim I called and asked if they needed any groceries, and they did, so I will pick them up and deliver them, and likely stay for a chat)
- be more faithful at doing my daily reading in my Urdu Bible to keep my language skills up (and that means DAILY)
- contine to whittle away at the paper/book/magazine-infested flat surfaces in the house, as well as other cleaning projects
- write a long-overdue newsletter
- start practicing my viola daily (particularly now that the weather is such that it keeps going out of tune and regular playing will do it good)
- visit Chicago with Hubby on Thursday on a survey trip, to start planning what kind of ministry/work we'll be involved in when we move there
- narrow down the possibilities of which doctor to go to in town, and choose one
- make appointments with said doctor for checkups
- start planning menus for when I have to cook for 50 people end of July at a training thingy in New Jersey
- get more exercise -- daily walks, when it isn't raining, and biking as well
- read Sharpe
- write Boromir
First things first, though, and that means LUNCH!
