B is for B's Birthday
Aug. 10th, 2006 07:46 amHere is a definition for the day from The Pooh Dictionary:
Very Happy Thursday, phrasal noun: The excuse to give if you and your friends want to get together in Company* (with Smackerels* and Hilarity), perhaps only because it seems a Friendly Day*, and it doesn't seem necessary to wait for a Proper Occasion to Celebrate.
Nevertheless, it just so happens that today is not only a Very Happy Thursday, it is also a Proper Occasion to Celebrate -- because today is an Important Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday,
boriel, and a very Happy Thursday to you as well. May it be a Friendly Day full of good Company -- not to mention Smackerels and Hilarity.
Wish I could be there. ;-)

Piglet thought that they ought to have a Reason for going to see everybody... if Pooh could think of something.
Pooh could.
"We'll go because it's Thursday," he said, "and we'll go to wish everybody a Very Happy Thursday. Come on, Piglet."
