Actually, I know perfectly well that in this neck of the woods, you don't put away your snow shovel until May or June, because one never knows when the unexpected will happen. Still, it was looking interesting around here for awhile -- we were just beginning to see the grass again as the warmer weather we had for a bit melted off quite a lot of the snow cover. The warm didn't last for long, though.
Now we've got more snow coming in the next day or two -- lots more snow. They are even using the "b & w" words when they speak of the coming storm -- blizzard and white-out conditions. Ah, well, no matter! Snow is good, and blizzards are kind of fun -- if you don't have to drive anywhere.
Sounds like a good weekend to stay indoors and write Boromir fics! Which I plan to do -- though I imagine I'll be called upon to do some shoveling as well. Hubby bought a new snow shovel just for me!
*sigh*
