An very interesting Heroes rumor....

I just read of a rumor that Sean Bean is to appear on NBC's Heroes -- as Sylar!  *shivers at the mere possibility*

The only proof (which is tenuous, at best) is a listing at IMDB, under Sean Bean:

"Heroes"
- Better Halves (2006) TV Episode .... Paul Sylar   30 October 2006 (Season 1, Episode 6)
- Nothing to Lose (2006) TV Episode .... Paul Sylar    6 November 2006 (Season 1, Episode 7)

Guess I'll have to get my VCR revved up for this coming Monday, just in case....

I'm not totally convinced it's true, so I'll believe it when I see it -- but man, can you imagine what Sean Bean could do with the character of Sylar???

Okay, I only watched the first episode (because the girl in the mirror thing was just too freaky for me) so please tell - who's Sylar? I may have to watch just to swoon over Sean...

Well, it looks like it was only a rumor, and probably isn't true -- shucks! But Sylar is the really really bad, gruesome serial killer type person who as yet has not been seen.

Okay, thanks. I know that a lot of actors prefer bad guys because they're more of a challenge or some such, but I'd really like to see him play a good guy again! I haven't seen Flight Plan yet - was he a good guy in that?

Yes, Sean was a good guy in Flightplan. I think you're supposed to think he might be suspicious or something, but I could tell he was a good guy just trying to do his job. I really enjoyed Flightplan, saw it twice in the theater and once again recently from the library.

Cool are you watching the series. I find it a little darker that I was expecting. Some of the acting is shakey and a few of the scenes are a poorly written but for the most part I am really enjoying it. The Japanese pair are hilarious.
That would be awesome to see Bean but then he would be a really bad guy wouldn't he?
