It looks deceptively gorgeous outside, with the sun shining on the snow and sky bright blue -- but it is currently -15 degrees below zero, and with the wind, that makes it roughly -30 below.  Yay, I get to go out in that!  :-D

I'm driving to my folks' place, about an hour and a half away, and you can bet I'll have the heat turned up in the car.  It will probably be warmer than I like at their place, so even though I am only staying a few days, I have to take a large selection of clothes, warm for going out in the arctic-like air, and cool for staying inside in the tropically warm house.  I think I can handle it, lol!

I am looking forward to getting away on my own for a bit, I have very recently realized that I haven't had a lot of quiet "me" time lately, and I need it.  So I'm taking advantage of the need to deal with some junk stored at the folk's house to make a break of it.

I'll still be in touch via LJ, email and suchlike, as I'm taking my trusty (or not) laptop with me.  So I'll see you all around!  I'm heading out this afternoon as soon as I can escape from the laundry, the dishes and the paperwork here at home...
