Today is my birthday!

I have had some lovely birthday wishes and gifts sent my way already, a nice way to start the day!

My plans for the day include:

- Writing a Boromir chapter
- Going to a picnic
- NOT going to work (nice that my day off coincides with my birthday for a change)
- Generally loafing about
- NOT doing housework (except for maybe one load of laundry... )

In case anyone is interested, I am 47 today. Not quite as young as 50, but I'm getting there! :-D

Your birthday is June 17th? We're about a half year apart -- on opposite sides of the sun (mine is December 18th). Two little sentinels of the spirit on this earth. God has given me one side of the sun, you the other. I know things are hectic for you right at this moment as you shared in your recent journal entry, but I am envisioning your happy birthday feelings to be in your life right now. Lots of rest and joy.
