Middle Earth Fanfiction Awards

I didn't say much about these awards this past year, because this is the first year I have ever tried to be involved in any kind of fanfiction writing awards, and I really didn't know what I was doing for a long time, lol! But I had some of my tales nominated this year, and lo and behold! Today I learned that some of them actually won!

As I said, I had several tales nominated, and I would have been very happy to have just gone home at the end of the day with the reviews I got for them. It was lovely to have my stories read by a wider audience than they've ever seen before, and to get such encouraging comments as I got, as well. So it was icing on the cake, so to speak, to learn I had won a few awards.

I received recognition in the following areas:

Lords of Gondor won 3rd Place in Genres: Alternate Universe: Incomplete



Waiting by the Water won 3rd Place in Genres: Drama: With Aragorn



Forcing a Path won Honorable Mention in Genres: Drama: The Fellowship



Is that cool, or what?  :-D

Oh, what encouraging news. Perhaps this will give you a boost to continue your other writings as you've mentioned you want to do. You have such an amazing talent to share and that you are sharing it with a wider audience makes my heart so glad and full of smiles.
