Hello, my dears!
I realize I haven't posted here in much too long, and I really so plan to catch you up on what I've been doing and thinking and planning in the last week or so. But there's something else much on my mind at the moment, so I thought I'd share that and leave the "me"update for another day.
For those of you who are so inclined, I would very much appreciate prayers for a friend of mine -- Brad. We were classmates since about the time we were in 6th grade and all through high school, and went to the same church. My dad is good friends with his folks as well.
Brad has a brain tumor of some kind, which requires surgery. I'm not sure if it's malignant or not, but it needs to be removed no matter what. So he's having surgery tomorrow (Monday). Please please pray for him -- that the tumor can be removed safely, and for complete healing, for whatever else comes to mind when you think of someone with such an affliction. Pray, too, for his parents during this hard time. They lost his older sister to undetected cancer some years ago, so I'm sure that is weighing heavily on them as well.
