After the great weekend comes the letdown

It was a glorious weekend, to say the least! Journeying to Middle-earth and the surrounding environs with some very, very special people -- who could ask for better?

Unfortunately, I am following up that great experience with a day home sick! It's probably just a bad cold and I'll be in good enough shape tomorrow to return to work, but for today, I'm taking it easy! I've not much choice in the matter, actually.

After a wee nap, I am going to try to write up my experience before it begins to grow dim in my mind. One wishes for the memory of Elves at such a time!

I'm sure all kinds of things are going to come out of this visit to Middle-earth. I've got several different Boromir conversations mixing around in my head, as well as the blow-by-blow description of where we went, what we ate, and what we giggled about. I'm sure an inkling will come out of it as well. Maybe not today, though. I'm feeling very sleepy right now!

just to let you know that i got your email, and thankk you very much for the bd wishes! i was able last week to find a free internet service and delete 835 (835!!) spam emails to maintain my inbox in a decent state. today i had over 400 to sort thru but yours was top of the list :-D

My poor ((((dear))))! I am sorry you are so sick; we probably overdid it this weekend. I am glad you made it through so well, it wouldn't have been the same without you! I suspect your bug came to me, but I don't mind. I am not too sick. I had the tiniest of naps today, and it helped. I might be slightly feverish, but that will pass.

Glad you had a glorious time but sorry to hear you're not feeling well now! Praying it doesn't last long. Hmmm... the memory of an Elf, I wonder if Elves ever wish they had the memories of Men... Looking forward to the write up!
