I've seen it coming, but the day is finally here -- the screen on my laptop is giving up the ghost. Every now and then the screen is visible, but for the most part now it is simply white. I can no longer trust it to come on when I need it. The rest of the computer works fine, but I will now be shackled to an old desktop monitor so I can see what I am doing. :-(
One nice thing is, my hubby picked up a decent laptop for free that just needed a few things done to it; it is well on the way to being quite useable, and we just might put my hard drive in that computer, and then I'll be off and running again.
But I shall miss my own laptop, that has now become a wee desktop.
