Here are a few of the more interesting pictures of my hike with my DH -- plus a picture of said sweetheart, if you haven't gotten a good look at him yet. ;-)

I thought I was making these small and manageable, but they have turned out to be bigger than expected, and the quality is somewhat reduced. Guess I need to practice a bit with my Photoshop Elements so I can find the right way to reduce size without reducing quality.

But these will do for starters. Dial-up folks beware -- they do take some time to load, but not too bad!

and you had led me to believe that you were in excess of about 500 pounds, you! you look pretty good to me! (i'd say you've losst some weight since your picture taken in pakistan for the postcard for the churches (missionary picture)

adn btw, if you know how, you can resize the pics as you put the link on your lj. email me if yu want info on how to - or just go to teh help section - that wAy you dont have to keep playing in photoshop to chop them down.

Thanks for the info on resizing, I'll look it up. Playing in photoshop is okay, but if there is an easier way...

Thanks for the encouraging words on my weight! I suppose it's not so bad, but it is too much for me to be really comfortable -- my feet hurt and my digestion is off. As you say, I have been heavier! ;-)

Doug is way too handsome! ( whispers) I see the resemblance to a certain actor who shall remain nameless. And of course he is accompanied by his lovely wife, who is beautiful inside and out. The rocks look like a fun climb, though and the lake is gorgeous!

I used to go camping at Devil's Lake all the time! I have so many fond memories there. We used to go repelling too!

Seeing your hubby in an Istanbul shirt reminds me of that song "Istanbul was Constantinople but it's Istanbul not Constantinople....etc"
