Question... is this icon better?

Or is this one?

I like them both which is no help at all. At first I liked the torso shot better because you realize what is going on in the picture but the head and ball shot is a really nice juxtaposition.

I know what you mean! I can't decide either. Guess there's no reason I can't use them both, hehe!

Lin - that's absolutely hysterical - where did you find it...and I like the torso one better

Here's the link to the article that featured the picture:

I like the closer one because you can see his face better, but the torso shot is definitely fun! Can you tell it is he? ;-)

Just from what I've read since then, it does seem like he has made progress in that area. Let us hope (and pray) that he continues to do so! ;-)

Ah thank you - of course I looked at each picture and read the article...fun to think this was before Sharpe kind of exploded!

In case you are interested in knowing where this icon came from, it is from a film poster for SB's film Fool's Gold.

i have that pic! and you sent it to me!!! i love it as an icon, and i love the head shot of the soccerball too. you should try it as a sepia tone instead of black and white and the details might show up better. i'll maybe try it out tomorrow at work for you during my 'coffee' break :-D

btw love that you're using more sean and less boromir...a healthy balance as it were

LOL! I think I remember that, now! And yes, sepia tones are very nice -- good idea! I'd like to see what you can come up with.

I do need to balance myself better with my icons, for even I have to admit that there is such a thing as too much Boromir, hehe! But you wouldn't know it from looking at my icon list. ;-)

I like the idea you had of using more uncommon and candid shots of Viggo, so that is what I am aiming for with my Sean icons. Now to be truly balanced, I need some non-B/SB stuff -- I have a few ideas using some photos of Pakistan we have. I just need to remember how to use my scanner...

either one would be good.

I guess since I have room (I bought some more icon space) I'll hang on to them both. Not sure how often I'll need an icon like this, but it's different, so that makes it fun.

I do love that icon of Pippin! I always know it's you when I see it (((Kim)))

I like the first one, myself. And I can understand Sean's attitude, although I, myself take my sex symbol status VERY seriously..... ( I almost kept a straight face, drat!!!!)
