We have been having a problem with our Yahoo email account. Over the weekend, Yahoo changed the number that identifies our account in the address bar after we have logged in -- and it has made it impossible for us to send any email from our RW account. Now I just had the same thing happen to my own yahoo account! I had to relogin and when I did, the number that identified me in the address bar had changed, and I cannot send any email. I can receive and read it, but can't do a thing that involves sending. All I get is an error message and a send button that I can click until the cows come home with no results.
Just in case any of you with Yahoo accounts have the same trouble, I have been sending emails to the following address, with the hope that SOMEONE there cares to fix this problem:
webmaster@yahoo-inc.com
With my own email, it's not that big a deal if I have to set up a new account, as my address book is small. But it would be awful to have to start over again with our other account!!!
Sigh! Maybe I should pray about this, as I am going to blow a head gasket otherwise!

I am eating copious amounts of chocolate in an attempt to get over my shock, but I have one of those blood pressure headaches... Remember that look I had on the train in Boston when I thought we would be late to the Exhibit? Yep! ;-)
lets cheer you up

Date: 2004-09-13 09:38 pm (UTC)From:When you log into Yahoo Mail, look in the upper-right corner of the page for the "Help" link. On the Help page, choose a topic closest to your problem, like "Sending Mail". On the problem page click a question related to the problem such as "How do I send a message". At the bottom of the answer page is the question, "Is this enough information?", click "No". Now you have a form you can fill out. Explain (in more detail than you have here) what is happening.
Now here is the key to success: when you get an automated reply, reply to that email repeating your problem. This will kick your emailed reply into a higher priority inbox. Continue to do this with every response you get from Customer Care until the problem is solved.
