Actually, I'm not as stiff and sore as I thought I would be, but it's enough to keep me home today. I have gotten over the "feeling like a clumsy doofus" part, and now I noticing what really hurts. I seem to have wrenched my back a bit, but it is my right shoulder that is beginning to pain me more as the day progresses. I fell on it after my knees took the brunt of the tumble. :-/
Guess I won't be doing any archery practice today.
I did have the foresight to bring home a proofreading/editing project, so I won't totally fall behind in my work at the office. Hopefully I won't be laid up more than today -- and tomorrow I have off anyway -- because I have a few deadlines to meet next week. Hope this shoulder won't impair my keyboard typing too much!

Date: 2004-09-16 07:22 am (UTC)From:I am definitely better today. But I'm still going to take it easy and enjoy my official day off. I shall probably spend it in pursuing Boromir to get him to help me write a new chapter.
I know when I watch FOTR, I don't feel I have really enjoyed it properly unless I am brought to tears by Boromir. Theoden's is another scene that gets to me. Enjoy your time with him, and be comforted afterwards. (((MNS)))

That icon is a picture of one of my most favorite Boromir scenes in the book -- B saving Pip from the snow. He's not got the look of the film Boromir, but he's still him. ;-)
