Hubby discovered that our email works if we use an internet browser other than Internet Explorer. That was actually the first suggestion Yahoo gave me -- try a different browser or upgrade -- but I thought I already had the newest upgrade to IE. Well, I tried upgrading more and it didn't change anything, and since Microsoft makes it next to impossible to figure out what more is needed for any further upgrades, I decided to skip it.

So I went to Mozilla, which is what we use at work.

Ta da! Back in business. The biggest difference I notice is that all my bookmarks are in alphabetical order, which is confusing, hehe! But I'm sure I can fiddle with that.

I'll be able to answer your emails now -- when I get a round tuit! :-D

Glad to hear your email is working again. After reading your initial post I tried all my Yahoo mail accounts and fortunately all of them are working (I have various ones attached to different webpages). We use Netscape, so perhaps that has helped. I've always had trouble with Internet Explorer and since I update webpages a lot, Netscape's webpage Composer built right into their browser makes that a lot easier than other browsers as well.

I was sorry to hear about your accident and resulting soreness! My constant battle with aching muscles is still a challenge even four years after my stroke. My neurologist says the pain is a good thing because it means the nerve endings are still alive and can be retrained. It is so painful at times to move (even moving the pedals on the harp seems insurmountable at times -- but I keep trying!). Anyway, I mailed you a present today you can take into a hot shower or bath with you that has helped me. Rub-a-dub-dub!

You are a sweetheart!

I am doing much better, so that is a relief! I'm really glad to hear that you are still making progress after your stroke, but I'm sure it is still very painful. But as you say -- that is a good sign!

I do believe Netscape might save you, LOL! I chose Mozilla because we use that at work. I think I shall like it. I can always revert to IE for everything except email!

Glad to hear you found a way to make it work again! I use Mozilla here at home, and used to use Netscape. I rather like the little dinosaur - he's always on my screen. :-D
