My Dad

Well, I called home on a routine matter last night to discover my dad is in the hospital. :-( It seems he has a violent case of the flu which has dehydrated him, and my mom -- being a very sensible sort -- took him in as soon as she realized what was happening.

It is most disconcerting. I just hope he won't get so weak that the "psuedomonas" bacteria that continually lurk in his system kick in and make him REALLY ill!

Prayers for him are appreciated.

As far as my own health goes, I am doing pretty well; I seem to have most of my energy back, and my moustache-shaped bruise is almost gone. My nose still has a greenish tint to it, and my neck still needs a bit of rubbing now and then, but thankfully, that is the extent of it.

Right now I have a headache, with I think means I didn't eat enough breakfast. I am off to find a snack...

He is home, thankfully, though not feeling very chipper -- which is to be expected, I suppose. They wouldn't have let him go if he were showing signs of his bacteria trouble, so that is a relief!

BTW, I totally love that icon of Pip!!
