I am back from a very busy weekend; it was not relaxing, but it was enjoyable and fun -- once we got into the swing of being up in front of a crowd of people talking and speaking and answering questions, we did well and people wanted to hear what we had to say.

I had a great visit with my new doctor yesterday -- he is perfect for my needs! He had some good advice for getting control of my asthma, and in several other ways was able to totally reassure me that he was the doctor for me. Whew! Now for the dentist...

On a more personal note, I have much to be thankful for and yet, I still am feeling a bit like I am being crushed under a great burden. This is because of some projects I have put off doing (and some projects that others in my family have put off doing but I am the one who worries about them) -- this often keeps me awake at night. Why I don't think about doing these things during the day is a mystery to me! Also, I have recurring worries for the future that I can't do anything about except be patient and trusting and in prayer. Easy to say, hard to do.

But it gets a bit lighter when I can tell my friends about it. ;-) So thanks for listening to that!

Ada....your icon is so cute...it makes me giggle.

Oh and Lin, I've sometimes woken up in the middle of the night not able to sleep because I have something to do. Sometimes you just have to give in to that, get up and do it when the mood strikes. It'll make you sleepy at work the next day, but at least it will be done and then the next night you'll be able to sleep.

My ears are for you! (((Lin)))

Great news on the doctor! Finding a good one is truly a blessing! I wish I could lend you my dentist. He is the greatest dentist in the world!

oh no....I have the greatest dentist. He's old and after my kids pediatrician retired (a very sad day) I was afraid my dentist would be next, but he assured me he's not going to retire any time soon. He's just going to take all the time off he wants. So, that's what he's doing. It means it's sometimes harder to get an apointment becuase I'm pretty sure he fishes more than he dentists, but at least he's still practicing.
