Today seems to be a repeat of last Wednesday -- home sick again, with the same old thing, which got better, then got worse, and now is not quite so bad, but still keeping me home. But I don't want to talk about being ill, so I won't.

Today seems to be a gloomy, rainy sort of day -- which in Pakistan, they would like, because cloudy means it isn't hot! But I still like the sun to shine.

Today seemed like the kind of day where you look out the window and get depressed because it is cold and rainy... But today I looked out my window and discovered I have daffodils in my back yard (which is more like a plot, it is so small, but at least it is grassy). I love daffodils! They were always the first thing to come up in the spring when I was growing up, and it is encouraging to see them. A nice little pick me up on what I thought was going to be a rather gloomy day.

Today seems like a good day to do some things that don't involve a lot of energy, but that would be enjoyable and relaxing -- reading the Silmarillion, watching TTT EE and/or Sharpe, writing inklings... Which shall I choose????

Hmmm, could be a good day after all!

I love daffodils too. They are so cheery. I have plants coming up too...something that I've always called "snow on the mountain" it's a varigated leaf plant that comes up every year and really spreads. I have to keep pulling it out so it doesn't just take over, but I do like a bit of it.

I'm trying to get motivated to start doing my son's room. We're having a garge sale sometime this month and I need to start packing stuff up. It's just so hard to get started. I know once I get started and get "in the groove" I'll be fine, but until then, I keep looking for things to do to take me away from it. :-/
