I'm having one of those days where things want to move faster than I am capable of moving. I woke up feeling "puny" enough to warrant staying home, so I called in sick. Then spent the rest of the morning chasing after and dealing with things that needed dealing with even though I didn't go into work. Whew! Think I'll go back to bed and after a nap, start over again and do my "sick" day right this time!
I'm not sick in particular, unless it was the "Five Hour" Flu. I'm feeling pretty much okay again -- though a nap still sounds like a good idea. ;-)
The things I have to get done in the next week and a half probably have something to do with the drained feeling I am experiencing. At least half of those things are fun things that have to do with eating out with coworkers and friends. But trying to sandwich in all the suddenly very important meetings and projects that need doing so I can enjoy Christmas without worrying about deadlines, is getting quite complicated. Not that complicated is anything new!
Ah, well, no matter. It will all fall into place, and happen as it happens, and I shall have survived when I get on the other side of it. In the meantime, I'm getting excited about getting to go back to Wisconsin for the holidays. It will be good to see family and friends again.
Maybe they'll have snow out there! Haven't seen any here yet; I really like snow, but I guess it can wait now until our traveling is done. Then let it snow!
My ROTK EE DVD gift set is on its way, maybe I'll get it tomorrow. I never got the email saying it had shipped, but I checked at the Amazon.com site, and it's already in PA. Don't know when I'll watch it, but just having it here and unwrapped so I can look at it will be nice. Very nice. ;-)
