Out for delivery...

... three words that are music to my ears. I have been expecting my Christmas gift from my folks -- the ROTK EE DVD Gift Set -- to arrive late, as I decided to save them some money and order it through Amazon.com. I paid for 2nd day delivery, but didn't expect it until at least Thursday.

Guess what? The tracking information informs me that it is in town and out for delivery. Wooo hooo! I should have it by this evening, along with many other folk who will be getting theirs today on release day. And the nice thing is, my son is home today, so he can wisk it indoors where it will be safe after they leave it at the door. Now I will have to make him swear solemn oaths not to open it until I come!

I've a fair bit of things on my list for today, so we'll see how much of it gets done once that parcel arrives.
