We arrrived home last evening, earlier than expected. It was a very good trip, with good roads and no bad weather except for some dense fog in central Ohio. We are sorry to see the snow left behind, but it is kind of nice to have warmish weather -- though it seems unnatural for the last day of December to have the temperature be above 40 degrees! :-/
Plans for the day include unpacking and putting things away -- and all the other things that come with getting resettled after being gone for a week. I plan to spend some time writing, as well. It used to be a tradition among our coworkers in Pakistan to get together for New Year's Eve and play Risk -- so the hubby, the son and I plan to try out LOTR Risk this evening, which we have had for a year and never yet played.
