Thanks to all who prayed and and expressed well wishes and good thoughts on my account for my frantic day. I have finally finished my writing project, and I can sleep! Oh, joy!

The guest arrived and with the help of my DH, I made a nice supper -- not without a brush with disaster, however. Due to my extreme wooziness, I accidentally used baking soda in the broth instead of cornstarch. Yikes! Know what happens when you put soda in boiling liquid? Foam all over the stove! Thankfully, the flavor was not harmed too much and I didn't have to make something from scratch at the last minute. It tasted quite good, actually -- but I won't do that again, you can count on that!

Sorry I haven't answered many posts today -- but I read them all, my dear friends.

Just got my computer back from the shop and am behind in reading. Glad that your food turned out alright anyway, and glad that you got your writing done, but then I never worry about you because I know that you will always come through.
