Erk

I don't know if "Erk" is a very expressive subject for an LJ entry, but it does the job for me today. I'm back from the dentist and feeling like I usually feel after getting shot full of Novacaine -- numb and "erk." Woozy is lurking, as well. My son is in the same boat, only worse, as he had to get double shots because the first round wasn't enough.

We plan to lay low today and watch one of the Star Wars DVD's we got for Christmas. I will also do some writing if I don't spend too much time sleeping; I got a nice headstart while I was waiting for my turn! I've been warning people they are on their own today, as I never know how good or bad I'll be for days after going to the dentist. Glad I don't have to be at work today, nor do I have to cook tonight! I brought my work home with me, so if necessary I can even stay home tomorrow and have an easy day of it.

I'm just hoping my guests aren't snowed in this weekend and have to stay around longer than they want to. That could be interesting...

Oh, you have the Star Wars DVDs?? Lucky, lucky you! *grin* I'd be happy getting shot full of Novacaine if I could lie around and watch the DVDs, hehe!

Sounds like a good time for a nap, to me...is this the last of the dentist visits for a while, or is there more to come? ( ugh ) Have some nice cups of tea and write if you can, or simply do nothing at all - you deserve it!
