I cleverly managed to convince my hubby to work at home today and do the income taxes, so I am off the hook on that one. But it didn't shorten my List of Doom any; in fact, I now have more things to add to it. Will it never end?
I actually need to have several lists:
** one for work-related projects -- so that they don't end up becoming "do at home" projects;
** one for home-related projects -- because maybe if these jobs aren't mixed in with other things, they might get done once in awhile;
** and Boromir-related projects -- so that they stay in their place and don't take over the other lists.
The Boromir List would tend to become the Ruling List, I suspect; the One List to Rule them all, because that's the one I would be thinking about all the time.
But it's worth a try, in my neverending quest to become organized....
Since today is a day for writing in LJ circles, here's a little limerick for the occasion:
There once was a writer named Lin;
She tried, but she just could not win
The day-to-day fight
To make work more light,
So she threw her List into the bin.
Not one of my better limericks, but I have to get back to work now, so I'm in a hurry!
