Here's my "It could have been a bad day, but..." list for the day:

- I slipped on the way to work this morning on a patch of new snow, and though I jerked myself a bit to catch myself and have a sore muscle or two, I did not fall!

- I have been obsessing over having to do the phone switchboard today during breaks, but I was resigned to it, trusting that my helpful coworker would be there to help me through the learning process. But I discovered upon coming in that she is out for the whole day! =:-O I started freaking out silently in my office, but just then, my other coworker came and asked if he could switch with me for next week, as he can't take his turn. An answer to prayer before I even had a chance to pray it! God was listening to my freaking out and interpreted it as prayer. ;-)

- So far, I only have two unexpected jobs on my desk today, which is pretty good for a Friday. ;-) Guess I better get to them, in case any more come along.

Phew, I must say!! Moments like that - could-have-beens - always leave me a bit breathless and terribly relieved. Makes me appreciate being alive and well all over again!

Glad to hear you're doing fine. :) (((Lin)))

I feel slightly stiff after sitting for a bit, probably because I pulled a muscle catching myself. An aspirin and a hot water bottle tonight will be the answer to that!

Yay that your day was that good! I truly am glad about the job switch; I think it would have been one thing too many today. Next week I'll be in a better frame of mind for it, I trust!

Oh, you poor thing! I'm glad that you didn't fall though! That could have caused serious injury! Luck day about the switchboard too! I love it when stuff like that happens.

I'm quite relieved, I'm not sure I could have managed it today. I'm always glad to put off a hard task if I can, hehe!

LOL! Yes, it's been that kind of day here! But it's sorting itself out without too much extra effort from me. ;-)

*whew!* A near miss and a fortuitous development!
*rubbs Lin's head* I could use some of that luck!

I'm feeling a bit stiff still from catching myself, but that's better than falling, that's for sure!

We had a great afternoon -- driving went very well, we bought some good books and we had fun giggling together in the grocery store over silly stuff. :-D

God was listening to my freaking out and interpreted it as prayer. ;-)

Oh boy howdy.....if this is prayer, then I must pray constantly. LOL!! I need to try to be more aware of how God fills my needs without my asking. I'm sure it's more than I'm aware of.

Asking is certainly important, but I don't think God is limited to prayers prayed in that way. The desperate cry of someone who is in need of something they can't yet put into words certainly counts, I think! Sometimes all I can manage is "Oh, please!" and I figure that will do for starters. ;-)
