What I have to do today...

... would make anyone feel glum. It certainly isn't contributing to my cheery disposition, particularly because I'd rather be doing anything else but this! But duty calls.

Here's the tip of the iceberg:

- finish the project that was due on Thursday but which was fraught with disaster and plagued by Murphy's law. It'll be a relief to get it over with and out of my hair.
- expense accounts, ick. Gotta do 'em or we don't get reimbursed for some big expenses, but they are the epitome of boring and frustrating.

There is other stuff, but if I write it, then I'll have to do it. ;-)

I had a lovely weekend full of blessings and some good "me" times -- but I could have done with more! I didn't make enough time for myself last week, I guess, and now I'm playing catch up. Maybe this week!

I'll confess here a wee bit;
Sunday I prayed and offered for you and our friends that the things of this life would be set right and we all could have some Divine Help to see us through these days, and for health, and family, and strength to carry on, and for You, that He would bless you and your family in Special Ways. We all have different needs and He knows them, but for you, who have done and do give, so much of yourself to help others known and strangers alike with, care, thoughtfulness, and mercy, I pray for something from our Lord, that He only knows would make you happy and uplift you.
You take so much upon yourself.
I think something special from our Father would be nice.
When I read in the news that the US decided to give Jets to Pakistan, my first thought was Great! Perhaps this might be what is needed to help bring Peace between them and India. I hope it does someday and you and yours could visit or live there again. But God knows best and you are needed where you are now too. You serve. I am proud to know you and humbled when you call me freind. Thankful you take time to write to each of us, with love and kindness, even those that you just met. I have read on LJs where you take time to console and advise even strangers or friends of friends of yours.
